Beach Style

I love a cute beach outfit, there is something about the summer time that brings out my inner flower child.  I always love to create a cute look that is acceptable for a day at the beach but is also versatile for an evening out.  Here are a few of my favorite pieces to throw on in the summer time.beach25

Of course a good maxi skirt or dress is the perfect easy cover up to throw on over your swimsuit.  I love pairing my maxi skirts with just my swim top and throwing on a basic crop top for the evening for a different look.

As you can probably see from my recent posts my favorite summer trend might have to be the romper.  I am especially obsessed with my Show Me Your MuMu pieces, they are so comfortable, light and flattering, and it doesn’t help that the patterns are adorable as well.  I think this is probably the most fun and easy look.  Toss it on with a pair of cute sandals and you’re ready for day and night.

Who doesn’t love a cute pair of high waisted shorts?  Toss them on with a cute bikini top for a day out on the beach and my other favorite thing to have around is a colorful kimono.  For an evening out putting the kimono on gives you a little bit more coverage while still being sexy….

Finally, I have been loving that overalls are back on trend.  They are so cute and, who doesn’t love to relive their childhood in a pair of these, add a crop top or wear them over your bikini top for a cute laid back date night.
