A Little Party Never Killed Nobody

This month came and went so quickly I have no idea time to even think about a blog post last week. Halloween is by far my favorite holiday with the parties and the costumes, the pumpkins and the spooks I love what fall brings with this holiday.

The week before Halloween a group of my friends got together and participated in a Murder Mystery party.  We decided on a Gin Joint 1920s theme to our party and it couldn’t have been more perfect. We received our characters just the day before and everyone did such a splendid job putting together their looks and really got into character — it was a blast!

For my look I wore the white dress I ordered years ago with the costume jewelry and peep toe heels.  My hair I attempted to finger wave simply with my curling iron rolling half of my bangs toward my face and the other away.  Of the entire look I think I am most proud of how the makeup came out

I created an all over smokey eye with a black shadow highlighting it with a little green color and lining my under eye with the same color, and of course the 1920s was all about the deep berry and red lip so I had to wear my favorite burgundy.

What did you do for Halloween?  Do you and your friends get really into the holiday?

I did the same thing last year (which I also wrote about on my blog funandgamessite.wordpress.com)! My murder mystery party was also 1920s themed. I used Night of Mystery’s Murder at the Juice Joint. Did you plan yours yourself or use a kit?

We used the same kit for ours. They have some great themes. Did you and your friends enjoy it too?
