Maison Margiela – Replica Beach Walk
Of course, I’m starting this list off with my ride-or-die summer fragrance. You can’t have a summer scent without the beach and this one will transport you back to your favorite beach memory (it’s literally the premise behind the brand) mine is when I was 16 visiting my aunt out in Laguna Beach, California. My first taste at independence getting to spend the evening at the beach with cute surfer boys, there’s coconut, bergamot, cedar, and pink pepper, giving you that suntan lotion and sand vibe.
Notes: Top notes: Bergamot, Pink Pepper, Lemon
Middle notes: Transluzone, Ylang Ylang, Coconut Milk
Base notes: Musk, Cedar, Benzoin
Dior – Miss Dior Eu de Toilette
My second will also be of no surprise to many of you. This I would say is my “signature scent” it’s the first fragrance I tried as a girl and fell in love with the way it smelled. I also fell in love with it in the beautiful city of Paris so I’m sure that played a role⦠it transports me back to a beautiful sunny spring day on the Champs Eleesey and always says summer is around the corner for me. It’s light, it’s sweet, but not candy sweet, it’s fresh and so feminine.
Notes: Grasse Rose, Lily of the Valley, Patchouli
Jo Malone – Peony and Blush Suede
This is a new scent for me and I’ll admit I’ve only used a trial, but I don’t think I’ve ever used a trial faster than Peony Blush Suede. It’s light and fresh and more floral than the others, I feel like this is the perfect walk-in-the-park fragrance. The Jo Malone Fragrances are also known to be great for layering so pair this with other body oils, or fragrances to create a signature scent.
Notes: Red Apple, Peony, Suede
Giorgio Armani – Si
A classic and such a great all-year-long scent, if you like sweeter fragrances you will love Si. She’s woody with a base of vanilla for an almost sugary scent with a hint of fruit as well. I love wearing this one all year long for a well-balanced perfume.
Notes: Top note is Cassis; middle notes are May Rose and Freesia; base notes are Vanilla, Patchouli, Ambroxan, and Woody Notes
Giorgio Armani – My Way
Yes, I know there are two Armani fragrances on this list but I just couldn’t pick just one. Unlike Si, My Way is a bit more floral but still very light and feminine, it still includes the vanilla so it is somewhat sweet but the Orange blossom and Jasmine give it more of a floral forward scent.
Notes: floral bouquet of tuberose, jasmine, and orange blossom enhanced by a vibrant cedarwood and warm vanilla.
Chloe- Nomade
Rounding out the list with Chloe Nomad. I fell in love with this fragrance the moment I pulled the tester at Sephora, and I’ve even gone through three travel fragrances. It is my favorite fragrance to travel with, and I can’t say they named it incorrectly. It’s such a unique scent and I love the way it makes me feel when I wear it. It’s not overly feminine but it’s not masculine either, they struck the perfect balance creating this fragrance. It’s very earthy and woody with some fruity notes in the mix. This is absolutely a fragrance everyone should try.
Notes: Top notes are Mirabelle, Bergamot, Lemon, and Orange; middle notes are Freesia, Peach, Rose, and Jasmine; base notes are Oakmoss, Amberwood, Patchouli, White Musk and Sandalwood
