Winter has hit Chicago in full force, and with all the fresh white snow around us, I have also been loving this season’s coolest trend. Winter Whites is a serious trend this season and can be kind of daunting. I feel like for so many years the saying “no white after labor day” has been something fashion lovers lived by but the last couple of years it’s slowly become more acceptable and expected to throw on a snow white sweater. But this year fashion bloggers and designers alike have been really embracing the monochromatic look in head to toe whites. Even if you aren’t ready for a full ensemble here are my favorite ways to wear white this season.

Booties
I have to say I’m definitely a shoe addict. I think when it comes to statement pieces shoes are definitely my go to. I love a simple look paired with a really cool boot. So this season to make a statement I have been loving a cool white bootie. I love them with a cool neutral outfit.

Cozy Sweaters
As I mentioned the go-to in the past has been a cozy sweater. I have always loved a big roll neck or a flared sleeve. Of course, cozy sweaters are a no brainer for the winter but paired with jeans and a pair of over the knee boots is the perfect cold-weather look. On a lazy day at home with a pair of leggings. I have also been living in sweater dresses this season, pair a white sweater dress with a cute pair of knee boots or booties.

Jacket
Your outerwear can make or break an outfit in the winter, for one it needs to be warm and two I love a jacket that makes a statement. That’s why a beautiful white peacoat or for a more athletic look a white parka can make a chic statement.

Monochrome Look
As I mentioned before monochromatic looks are the epitome of chic this season. Everything from runway looks to blogger street style I have seen a lot of monochrome looks and many of them are white. Pair a pair of white pants with a statement boot and an off white sweater for a chic and cozy look.

Stick with Neutrals
As daunting as the full white look can be, just remember to keep it in the neutrals. If you aren’t ready for an entirely white ensemble pair your white or off white with tans, blacks, and navy for a very fashion-forward look.
Accessories
Finally, accessories are also a great way to finish off a look, I love breaking up my usual all black outfit with some soft and feminine white accessories. From gloves to hats to chunky scarves, accessories are the best way to incorporate white into your winter wardrobe.
How are you wearing white this winter?
