Valentine’s Date Ideas

vday1In honor of tomorrow being Valentine’s Day I wanted to share some ideas for some easy date plans.  I think this day isn’t all about the gifts or the inflated priced flowers, it’s about spending time with the one(s) you love.

vday3From the top– Take a class together, weather it’s a group fitness class, ballroom dancing, or maybe painting.  Getting out and doing something outside your comfort zone is always a fun way to laugh and get more intimate with your significant other.

Take a Hike– Get out doors, go for a nice hike or maybe since we still have a little bit of snow here, maybe some cross country skiing.  I love to do out doors-y things and it’s a great way to get your heart rate up and motivate each other to do something healthy for yourselves.

Taste the Town– Do a little tour of your city, make sure you make dinner plans at your restaurant but get dressed up early and hit a
bar for drinks before dinner and get dessert somewhere fun.

Top Chef– If you are looking for an even more intimate dinner arrangement cook together at home!  Pick up a fresh door delivery box like Hello Fresh as I suggested in my gift guide or pick up ingredients for your favorite dinner.  Cooking together will bring you closer and give you excuse to be in the kitchen with each other.  Just don’t forget the aphrodisiacs like chocolate, chili peppers, artichokes, chocolate, and even avocado when picking out your menu for the evening.

Cinema Crusaders– Finally check out a romantic movie.  I love to pack a large bag full of healthy snacks , drinks and a large scarf to cover up under for a movie. This is a great way to get away and spend some quality time together.

What are your plans for Valentine’s Day?
