When it comes to CBD I’ll admit I was pretty late to the game. I knew what it was but honestly the CBD market and dosage and all the different types of products honestly kind of overwhelmed me. I remember when I met a friend for a business meeting and we changed topics to how she stays on task and takes the edge off a stressful day of work with a couple of drops of CBD I knew I needed to give CBD a second look, and I’m really glad I did. There are days where all my to-do lists, the stress of blogging, work, and life seem to overwhelm me. I get choice paralysis, and can’t seem to concentrate. I also have a similar issue when I go to sleep. Some nights I just can’t turn my brain off and wake up frequently running through my lists. CBD has a game-changer and helps me focus just a little bit better, keeps me relaxed, and also helps me get some sleep. There are so many benefits of CBD and so many ways to use it that once you understand what’s right for you it’s a great product for anyone.

What is CBD?
So what is CBD? Many people just believe it’s marijuana and will make me feel like smoking weed does. That’s actually not true, CBD or Cannabidiol derives from the hemp plant, not marijuana. Hemp plants have less than 0.3% THC, the psychoactive compound that gives you that “high” feeling when you smoke weed.
CBD affects everyone differently, it interacts with your endocannabinoid system which is in charge of regulating functions like sleep, pain, appetite, and immune response. I know I use my CBD to help me on extra stressful days when I can’t focus and at night when my mind races and I can’t get to sleep. Studies have shown that some of the benefits of CBD are it can interact with your neurotransmitters and bolster your body’s response to things like stress, pain, inflammation, and fatigue.
What Are the Benefits of CBD?
As I mentioned CBD interacts with your endocannabinoid system the CBD attaches itself to the receptors in this system and helps the natural cannabinoid receptor proteins react to the pain, inflammation, or fatigue you might be feeling. So it goes without saying some of the benefits of CBD are to help with stress, fatigue, it helps me sleep and if applied topically it can help with muscle inflammation or pain.

How much CBD should I take?
Like I said CBD affects everyone differently and the amount of oil or number of gummies one person takes might not be right for you so starting small and letting it build up in your body could be beneficial. It might take 7 to 14 days for it to build up in your body and see the best benefits. In studies, people took between 20 and 1,500 milligrams each day, but know that “too much” won’t hurt you.
My Favorite Sunday Scaries Products
I’ve tried many different types of CBD and all different forms but I think my favorite brand has been Sunday Scaries. They have such a great, and wide range of fun products and their gummies are delicious. I think my favorites by far are the vegan gummies and the CBD bath bomb. The gummy bears are so delicious and they don’t have a weird after-taste as some gummies can be. The bath bomb is also such a cool product. I love to take a relaxing bath after a long and stressful day and the CBD not only soothes aching muscles but also has lavender in it which is also really relaxing. If candies aren’t your think they also carry a regular oil that doesn’t have a strong flavor and can be mixed into your morning coffee. {gifted product}
